Jim has been an insurance professional since 1985 and Holt Financial Services was established in 1989. Jim received his Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) designation in 2006, and his Registered Employee Benefit Consultant (REBC) designation in 20007 . The primary focus of his company has been employee benefits planning for companies and insurance planning with self employed and retired individuals.
Jim graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1980, with a Bachelor’s Degree in clinical dietetics. He worked as a clinical dietitian for five years in a local hospital before he decided to work as an insurance professional. Jim and his wife, Elaine, live in Moraga. Jim has five children, ranging in age from 20 to 27. His passion is golf, but he also enjoys running, biking, skiing, tennis and the theatre.

Susan was born and raised in San Francisco and moved to Contra Costa County in 1996. She currently lives and owns a home in Martinez.
Susan has worked in the insurance and financial services industry since 1989. She graduated from City College of San Francisco with an Associate Arts Degree in English and History. Susan acquired her California life and disability license in 1989 and has worked at Holt Financial Services since December, 2000. She enjoys the daily contact with clients and especially enjoys troubleshooting and solving problems for them.
Susan is an avid gardener, enjoys interior design and has currently taken up the hobby of mosaic.
